Assistant Bidding Manager

About the role

Mace is seeking an Assistant Bidding Manager to support the end‑to‑end bid process for construction projects across the Middle East. You will work closely with senior bid managers, multidisciplinary teams and clients to ensure compliant, compelling and timely submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day management of bids from qualification through submission and post‑tender activities.
• Support bid managers on major pursuits and coordinate multidisciplinary inputs (technical, commercial, legal, operational).
• Review tender documents, develop compliance matrices, response plans and bid programmes.
• Facilitate bid kick‑off meetings, workshops, reviews and governance processes.
• Develop, edit and enhance bid content, CVs and project profiles.
• Manage tender clarifications, client queries and electronic submission portals.
• Maintain the central bid inbox, pipeline of opportunities and the Mace work‑winning content hub.
• Ensure all governance reviews, approvals and sign‑offs are completed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of bid management experience.
• Proven experience managing bids within the Middle East market.
• Familiarity with InDesign; APMP certification is a plus (not essential).
• Demonstrated commitment to personal development and continuous improvement.
