Assistant Brand Manager – Food

About the role

The Assistant Brand Manager – Food will support the planning and execution of brand strategies for Agthia’s food portfolio in Dubai. You will focus on project management of product innovations and on‑ground brand experiences, ensuring timely launches and effective budget use.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end timelines for New Product Development (NPD) and Product Portfolio Architecture (PPA) to guarantee on‑time launches.
• Coordinate between R&D, Procurement, Sales and other stakeholders to drive product approvals and stage‑gate milestones.
• Oversee artwork approval process, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Track and report monthly Advertising & Communication (A&C) expenditures against the approved budget.
• Handle purchase order processes, vendor payments and accrual accuracy.
• Update packaging artwork for nutritional facts, ingredient lists and legal claims.
• Maintain digital asset library and ensure SKU branding is current.
• Collaborate with QA/R&D to meet food safety and local regulations.
• Lead brand events by preparing creative briefs and managing on‑site execution.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within FMCG or Food & Beverage.
• Strong knowledge of the marketing mix, product development and competitor assessment.
• Solid financial literacy for managing A&C budgets and conducting PPA analysis.
