About the role
WSP is seeking an Assistant Consultant in Urban Design to join its multidisciplinary team in Sharjah. The role offers the chance to work on mixed‑use and sustainable projects, applying climate‑responsive design principles while collaborating with experienced professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Develop concept, schematic and detailed design solutions for urban projects.
- Create three‑dimensional models and visualisations to communicate design intent.
- Prepare technical documentation and authority submission packages.
- Support multidisciplinary coordination and ensure compliance with local design regulations and codes.
- Contribute to research‑driven design approaches and sustainable design strategies.
Required profile
- Junior‑level urban designer with local UAE experience.
- Strong foundation in sustainable, climate‑responsive design.
- Proven ability to work across conceptual, technical and visual communication workflows.
- Excellent collaboration skills and adaptability to new tools and methodologies.
