Assistant Finance Manager

About the role

The Assistant Finance Manager will support equity funding activities, hedge fund investment analysis, and financial reporting in line with IFRS standards. This role also involves liaising with banks and financial institutions for various financing needs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating equity funding opportunities and preparing related financial information.
• Support analysis and management of hedge fund investment opportunities.
• Represent the company in negotiations with banks, financial institutions, and funding partners.
• Prepare monthly and year‑to‑date financial reports complying with IFRS.
• Develop regular reporting on sales, inventories, costing, and collections.
• Handle budgeting processes under senior management direction.
• Oversee quarterly and annual statutory audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, tax regulations, and real‑estate specific requirements.
• Manage operational payments, supplier invoices, and collection follow‑ups.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in commerce, MBA in Finance, CA or CPA qualification.
• At least 5 years of senior accounting/finance experience in a reputable company.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, especially for the real‑estate sector.
• Ability to mentor and coach an accounts team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Oracle financial systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with accounting software packages.
