Assistant Manager - Accounts Receivable

About the role

Nathan HR Human Resources is hiring an Assistant Manager - Accounts Receivable on behalf of its client, based in Dubai, UAE. The role sits in the Central Finance department within the Financial Control team and involves coordinating day-to-day receivables operations, supporting the team and helping deliver accurate, efficient billing and cash allocation across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily accounts receivable activities, ensuring accurate processing and timely completion.
• Support billing and invoicing, keeping client records, fee schedules and pricing data accurate.
• Process and review cash receipts and allocations.
• Support month-end activities and ensure the completeness and accuracy of receivables balances.
• Work with the Group Credit Controller and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and support debt collection.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails, escalate operational issues and control risks.
• Guide junior team members and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• Strong experience in accounts receivable, billing or finance operations.
• Good understanding of order-to-cash processes.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A proactive, collaborative approach and a strong sense of accountability.
• An advantage: experience with finance systems or ERP platforms, process improvement, or a multi-jurisdictional or professional services environment.
