Assistant Manager – Bar Operations

About the role

Join the vibrant Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai as an Assistant Manager – Bar and help create memorable beverage experiences for guests. You will support daily bar operations, lead a dynamic team, and ensure high standards of service, quality, and commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Bar Manager in day‑to‑day operations and staff scheduling.
• Lead, coach and motivate the bar team to deliver outstanding service.
• Maintain consistent quality in cocktails, beverages, presentation and service standards.
• Monitor stock levels, wastage, ordering and beverage costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene and licensing requirements.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve concerns promptly.
• Assist with menu development, promotions and creative beverage concepts.
• Drive revenue through upselling, product knowledge and memorable guest experiences.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory or assistant‑management experience in a busy bar, restaurant or hotel.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer and contemporary beverage trends.
• Excellent communication, leadership and guest‑service skills.
• Creative, confident, hands‑on approach with strong commercial awareness.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
