About the role
The Assistant Manager – Design Kids Wear will support the design team of Max Fashion in creating and delivering appealing children’s collections. Reporting to the Design Manager, you will help translate market insights into creative concepts that align with the brand’s value‑and‑style proposition.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in developing seasonal kids‑wear concepts, mood boards and colour palettes.
- Coordinate with product development, sourcing and merchandising to ensure timely execution of designs.
- Monitor fashion trends, competitor offerings and consumer feedback to inform design decisions.
- Support senior management in preparing presentations and line‑up reviews.
- Maintain design documentation and ensure compliance with brand guidelines and safety standards.
Required profile
- Degree in Fashion Design, Textiles or a related field.
- Relevant experience in children’s apparel design, preferably within a fast‑fashion environment.
- Strong visual sense, creativity and an understanding of the target market.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
