Assistant Manager – Facilities Management

About the role

Transguard Group is seeking an Assistant Manager to support its Total Facilities Management team in Dubai. The role assists the Facilities Manager and clients in day‑to‑day operational management, ensuring that all facilities are maintained, functional, and safe for building users.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly operational reports to review financial performance of contracts.
• Oversee maintenance activities, vendor and contractor coordination, housekeeping, and soft services.
• Ensure delivery of FM services according to contractual SLA/KPI targets and avoid penalties.
• Identify and record continuous improvement and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Plan transport and accommodation requirements for new contracts in liaison with the relevant division.
• Manage procurement of materials and services in line with company policies.
• Supervise specialist service contractors and monitor staff attendance, sickness, and holidays.
• Maintain regular client communication, hold client meetings, and exceed customer expectations.

Required profile

• Experience in facilities management or related operational roles.
• Ability to work with engineers, supervisors, and team leaders to deliver training packages.
• Strong organizational skills for planning, reporting, and managing vendor relationships.
• Familiarity with safety guidelines, SLA/KPI monitoring, and financial reporting.
