Assistant Manager – Facilities Management (Soft Services)

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager for Facilities Management Soft Services to join our Total Facilities Management team in Dubai. The role supports daily operations of the soft‑services division, ensuring high cleanliness standards and swift resolution of client issues.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Account Manager in planning and organising daily cleaning schedules and resource allocation.
• Supervise, train and provide performance feedback to a team of cleaning staff.
• Monitor budgets, expenses and inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Handle customer complaints related to cleanliness and conduct regular facility inspections.
• Ensure all Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Service Requests (SR) are closed within target times.
• Maintain records of attendance, performance evaluations and incident reports.
• Promote health and safety compliance and conduct briefings with managers and senior supervisors.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new cleaning technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a managerial role.
• At least 2 years of experience managing mall facilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in facilities management or related field and BICS training certificate.
• Strong project‑management and continuous‑improvement experience.
• Commercial and contract awareness.

Required skills

• Knowledge of heavy‑duty cleaning machines and cleaning chemicals.
• Understanding of cleaning procedures and methods.
• Project management capabilities.
