Assistant Manager F&B - ZUIKOAN

About the role

BEAMS, a Japanese-inspired retail brand, is looking for an Assistant Manager F&B to lead the daily operation of its ZUIKOAN outlet in Abu Dhabi. You will oversee kitchen preparation, non-alcoholic beverage service and guest experience, keeping food safe, hygienic and consistently high quality, while leading the team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead opening, closing, shift briefings and daily F&B service
• Supervise frozen-product storage, thawing, preparation and traceability
• Maintain approved recipes, portions, plating and serving standards
• Own HACCP, hygiene, allergen, temperature and cleaning controls
• Coordinate kitchen, beverage and table-service timing
• Train and assess the F&B team
• Confirm purchase quantities and product specs with the Receiving Clerk
• Review food-cost, waste and stock-usage reports and address variances
• Resolve guest concerns within delegated authority and escalate serious incidents
• Maintain clear cover and handover arrangements for planned absences
• Support F&B sales, food-cost control, portion management, waste reduction and team deployment

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in café, restaurant or premium food-service environments
• 2+ years of supervisory experience
• HACCP and food-safety certification
• Fluent English
• Experience in kitchen and service supervision

The role reports to the Outlet Manager and directly manages the Chef de Partie, Commis Chefs and Waiters / Beverage Attendants. It is a shift-based operation in kitchen, dining and storage areas, with exposure to heat, refrigeration and kitchen equipment, and includes inspection, launch and event support.
