About the role
The Assistant Manager supports store performance by combining business strategy, operations, creativity, and people management. You will drive sales, ensure excellent customer service, and help develop the team in a fast‑paced retail environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform opening and closing routines and oversee daily store operations.
- Supervise the sales floor and stockroom, ensuring seamless customer service.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and payroll processes.
- Train and develop non‑management staff.
- Maintain product knowledge, drive sales, and build visual displays.
- Analyze reports to inform decision‑making and control inventory.
- Operate POS systems and protect store assets.
Required profile
- Strong leadership with experience in recruiting, training, and staff engagement.
- Ability to deliver best‑in‑class customer service and meet sales targets.
