Assistant Manager – Real Estate

About the role

The Assistant Manager Real Estate will support the development and execution of real‑estate strategies that enable Americana Restaurants’ brands to expand across the market. You will negotiate development agreements, manage the equity property portfolio and work closely with brand and market teams to align growth plans.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new sites for restaurant expansion, coordinating hand‑over to construction teams.
• Develop and implement market‑specific real‑estate strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
• Monitor lease negotiations, rental reductions and property cost inflation, ensuring financial viability.
• Manage planning, legal and acquisition processes, preparing reports for internal approvals.
• Maintain up‑to‑date pipeline and trade‑zone files, and liaise with market planning.
• Build and sustain relationships with landlords, developers, investment funds and other key stakeholders.
• Track and challenge property‑related costs, engaging specialist consultants when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in real‑estate acquisition, lease negotiation or asset management.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess financial viability of deals.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
