Assistant Operations Manager, Gastronomy

About the role

Atlantis The Royal, a luxury resort on the Palm Island in Dubai, is looking for an Assistant Operations Manager for its gastronomy outlet. The role oversees the floor and assists the Restaurant General Manager in ensuring high standards and quality in day-to-day operations. It is the second-in-command of the outlet, and past success in driving departmental KPIs focused on guest, people, product and profit is vital.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the floor and support the Restaurant General Manager in maintaining high standards and quality in daily operations.
• Engage and motivate colleagues through training, coaching and strong communication.
• Oversee the profitability of the department.
• Drive departmental KPIs covering guest, people, product and profit.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant all-day dining experience, or other experience in a related field.
• Previous international exposure with 5-star hotel experience is preferred.
• Solid understanding of business acumen and overall P&L.
