Abu Dhabi University’s College of Health Sciences seeks a full‑time Assistant Professor to join its Clinical Psychology and Mental Health program. The position involves teaching, research, and service activities that support student learning and the university’s academic mission.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as abnormal psychology, clinical assessment, counseling, and psychotherapy.
• Supervise student research projects and practicum experiences.
• Develop and update curriculum to align with accreditation standards.
• Engage in scholarly research and publish in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Mentor students and contribute to academic and administrative service.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives promoting mental health awareness in the UAE.
• Collaborate with faculty locally and internationally.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent in Clinical Psychology or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching at the university level.
• Strong research record with publications in reputable journals.
