Assistant Professor/Lecturer in Internal Medicine (Clinical Faculty)

About the role

The University seeks an Assistant Professor or Lecturer to join its Core Clinical Faculty in Internal Medicine. The successful candidate will deliver undergraduate clinical education, contribute to curriculum development, and support research activities.

Key responsibilities

• Teach internal medicine modules to undergraduate medical students using English as the medium of instruction.
• Develop and implement assessments, including OSCE stations and active‑learning activities.
• Participate in scholarly research and publish in indexed journals.
• Collaborate with hospital partners for clinical training opportunities, subject to Ministry approval.
• Maintain professional standards, including BLS and ACLS certification.

Required profile

• MBBS/MBBCh and an MSc/M.S. (medical qualification only).
• Terminal qualification in internal medicine (Ph.D., MD, Arab Board, American Board, Royal College, or equivalent recognized by the relevant Medical Council).
• Minimum 2 years of post‑terminal teaching experience in an accredited medical college.
• Eligibility for UAE medical licensure (MOHAP/EHS/DHA).
• Excellent English communication skills and a strong record of research publications.
• Valid passport and readiness to join promptly.

Required skills

• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification (preferred).
• Assessment development expertise.
• OSCE design and implementation.
• Active‑learning methodology experience.
