Assistant Relationship Manager

About the role

Standard Chartered is looking for an Assistant Relationship Manager to support its Wealth and Retail Banking division in Dubai. The role focuses on building new client relationships, onboarding customers, and maintaining a portfolio through strong communication and service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Create strategic plans for revenue generation and business development while advancing the Digital Agenda.
• Generate new business to meet defined targets for customer numbers, volumes, revenue, product mix, and liability ratios.
• Induct all new‑to‑bank (NTB) customers referred by branches and direct‑sales teams.
• Develop sales call plans to acquire large prospective customers through referrals.
• Update and maintain sales MIS, including calls, prospects, attrition, and business outcomes.
• Deliver professional customer service, handle complaints, and achieve high customer satisfaction and retention.
• Lead by example, foster a positive culture, and collaborate with risk and control partners.

Required profile

• Experienced professional with a proven track record in client relationship management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to develop new relationships, onboard clients, and manage an existing portfolio.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on meeting revenue and growth targets.
