Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role

Sunset Hospitality Group is looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of TAPASAKE, an award‑winning lifestyle dining concept that blends Japanese and Mediterranean cuisine. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure a seamless, luxury guest experience in a high‑energy, high‑volume environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations.
• Lead, motivate and develop the front‑of‑house team to deliver world‑class service.
• Coordinate effectively with bar and kitchen teams to maintain smooth service flow.
• Handle guest feedback, resolve concerns promptly and uphold TAPASAKE’s luxury service standards.
• Monitor service standards, grooming, and operational procedures.
• Support scheduling, staffing and labour productivity initiatives.
• Drive food and beverage revenue through upselling and guest engagement.
• Assist with inventory control and operational cost management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in luxury hospitality.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Background in high‑volume lifestyle restaurants, beach clubs or luxury dining concepts.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication and guest‑engagement skills.
• Commercial awareness with a proven track record of driving revenue.
• Passion for delivering exceptional service in a luxury environment.
