Assistant Sales Manager - Arabic Speaker

About the role

A hotel belonging to the Accor network, which includes more than 45 brands, 5,500 hotels, 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations, is looking for a dynamic, results-driven Assistant Sales Manager who speaks Arabic to join its sales team at Novotel & ibis Gate Hotel in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve hotel revenue targets.
• Develop new business opportunities across corporate, MICE, travel trade and government segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Conduct sales calls, client meetings, hotel site inspections and presentations.
• Negotiate corporate rates, prepare proposals and manage client agreements.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and increase room-night production and revenue.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and business opportunities.
• Coordinate with Revenue Management, Reservations and other departments to maximise business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales records, account profiles and sales reports.
• Promote the Novotel and ibis Gate Hotel to maximise cross-selling opportunities and market share.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel sales, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE hospitality market and corporate client segments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and generate new business.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of hotel sales systems and CRM tools.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Sales-driven, detail-oriented, collaborative and able to present professionally.
