Assistant Social Media Manager

About the role

Huda Beauty is seeking an Assistant Social Media Manager to support the development and execution of content across key social channels. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands influencer and creator behavior, and can translate creative direction into actionable social plans.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of social media strategies on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and emerging platforms.
• Translate creative direction into clear social plans, content ideas and executions.
• Own projects from concept through delivery, including planning, briefing, coordinating shoots, managing edits, approvals and publishing.
• Develop compelling, social‑first content that drives audience engagement and channel growth.
• Identify opportunities to elevate channels through new formats, content pillars and platform behaviors.
• Build and manage content calendars, timelines and project plans to ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in social media, content or creator marketing.
• Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and broader social culture.
• Strong creative instincts and ability to turn ideas into clear, executable plans.
• Excellent project management, organizational and time‑management skills.
• Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Understanding of influencer and creator behavior.
• Knowledge of short‑form content best practices (hooks, pacing, storytelling).
• Ability to analyze social media performance metrics and apply insights.
