Assistant Store Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and leading the sales team. This position focuses on achieving sales targets, maintaining high customer service standards, and ensuring smooth store performance in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with daily store operations and staff supervision.
• Support sales targets, revenue goals, and customer service standards.
• Supervise, train, and motivate sales and store staff, and prepare schedules and attendance records.
• Monitor stock levels, inventory movement, replenishment, and conduct stock counts and audits.
• Handle stock receiving, checking, tagging, storage, and ensure accurate inventory records.
• Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and daily cash closing procedures.
• Address customer complaints and service issues professionally.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, visual merchandising, pricing, and promotional displays.
• Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, finance, and management teams.
• Prepare daily reports on sales, stock, staff performance, and store activities.
• Help prevent stock loss, damage, theft, and operational errors.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.
• Take responsibility for store operations in the Store Manager’s absence.
