Assistant Technician - Facilities Services

About the role

EFS UAE in the Facilities Services industry is looking for an Assistant Technician in Al Bidyah, Fujairah. The role supports maintenance and repair operations and works closely with senior technicians to keep systems and equipment running smoothly. Candidates need between 2 and 4 years of experience in technical roles.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in routine maintenance of equipment and systems
• Troubleshoot technical issues and propose solutions under the guidance of senior technicians
• Carry out regular inspections to spot faults and recommend repairs
• Help install and set up new machinery or systems
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report findings to the relevant authorities
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
• Work with the maintenance team to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
• Help source and procure spare parts and equipment

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in a relevant technical field
• 2 to 4 years of experience in technical roles
• Proficiency with maintenance tools and equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in facilities services

Required skills
