Assistant Vice President - Large Corporate I RAK

About the role

Orient Insurance PJSC, a leader in the UAE insurance market and part of the Al-Futtaim Group, is recruiting an Assistant Vice President for its Large Corporate I RAK business unit. The role sits in financial services and supports corporate business growth, stakeholder relationships and departmental performance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for business expansion, new client acquisition and market penetration.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners and vendors.
• Assist senior leadership in developing and executing corporate business growth strategies.
• Monitor market trends, the competitive landscape and regulatory changes to inform decisions and planning.
• Oversee day-to-day business operations so they align with corporate objectives.
• Set and track KPIs to assess department performance.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, and ensure cost management, profitability and financial compliance.
• Work with Underwriting, finance and other departments on corporate initiatives and cross-functional projects.
• Identify risks and work with senior management to mitigate them, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and legal regulations.
• Report regularly to senior executives on performance and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, insurance or a related field; an MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a sales and marketing role in a corporate setting, with a proven track record of managing teams and driving business outcomes.
• Experience in the insurance industry.
