Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing

About the role

Ajman University is seeking a dynamic academic professional to join its Marketing department as an Assistant or Associate Professor. The position involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting high‑quality research, and contributing to the university’s service and outreach activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and assess undergraduate and graduate courses in Marketing and Hospitality Management.
• Employ innovative, technology‑enabled teaching methods.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Conduct research, publish in reputable journals, and seek external funding.
• Supervise student research projects, theses, and internships.
• Participate in curriculum design, accreditation processes, and departmental committees.
• Build partnerships with industry, government, and community stakeholders.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely related field from a reputable, preferably AACSB‑accredited, university.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience at undergraduate and graduate levels in an internationally reputable university.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching, curriculum development, and scholarly research.
• Strong record of peer‑reviewed publications in top‑tier business/management journals.
• Experience supervising student projects and contributing to professional/community service.
