Associate – Cost Management

About the role

The Associate will lead the Cost Management team on major mixed‑use and infrastructure projects, overseeing delivery from feasibility through to completion. This senior position combines technical expertise with client‑facing leadership to ensure high‑quality, accurate, and timely cost outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary client contact across multiple projects, shaping delivery strategy, scope, and commercial direction.
• Oversee project teams, allocate resources, and mentor senior and junior quantity surveyors.
• Lead preparation and review of feasibility, concept, and detailed cost estimates, including cost planning, benchmarking, risk allowances, and value engineering.
• Approve cost reports, cash flows, earned value assessments, and manage contractor/consultant progress payments, variations, and claims.
• Direct procurement documentation, RFPs, and tender evaluations while ensuring commercial governance and quality control.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related field.
• MRICS qualification.
• 12 years of post‑graduation experience in cost management.
• Experience leading client‑facing teams on large‑scale infrastructure projects.
