Associate Director – Data Science

About the role

You will own the technical architecture of Acxiom's identity graph for the MENAT region and lead a data‑science team delivering marketing‑mix modelling and high‑value audience solutions. The position bridges data engineering, data science and senior leadership, requiring both strategic design and hands‑on delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end design and architecture of the MENAT identity graph, including ingestion, deterministic and probabilistic matching, resolution logic, match‑rate measurement and refresh cadence.
• Define data models, pipelines and cloud architecture (BigQuery, Snowflake) with data engineers, setting standards for scalability, cost and latency.
• Build privacy‑by‑design controls such as consent handling, anonymisation, clean‑room integration and compliance with UAE and KSA data‑protection laws.
• Lead delivery of marketing‑mix modelling (Bayesian MMM), multi‑touch attribution and high‑value audience solutions, moving repeat work into reusable products.
• Hire, coach and manage a team of data scientists, set goals, run performance reviews and partner with client services, sales and product teams.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in data science, data products or AI, with at least 3 years leading teams.
• Proven track record delivering media measurement solutions such as MMM, multi‑touch attribution or incrementality testing.
• Strong background in the media/advertising domain, either agency, ad‑tech or data‑provider experience.
• Experience presenting architecture decisions and model results to C‑level audiences.
