Associate Director & Investment Advisor – Wealth Management

About the role

The Investment Advisor supports Relationship Managers and their affluent clients in achieving investment objectives and growing the bank's assets under management. The role provides market insights, product knowledge and tailored investment solutions while ensuring compliance and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Managers in meeting client investment goals and driving AUM growth.
• Deliver timely market outlooks from the CIO Office to frontline staff and clients.
• Liaise with WM product managers (Managed Investments, Bancassurance, CMPS, WM Lending) to align client needs with product offerings.
• Conduct portfolio reviews, assess risk appetite and provide independent investment opinions.
• Support sales teams with market ideas, ensure compliance with risk and control standards, and maintain a robust control environment.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of global financial markets and asset allocation.
• Experience in advisory, financial planning and wealth management.
• Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English and Arabic; CISI Level 3 preferred.

• Familiarity with Bloomberg/Refinitiv data platforms
