Associate Director – Private Banking (UAE Nationals)

About the role

The Associate Director will manage a portfolio of high‑net‑worth (HNW) clients, delivering personalized banking solutions and building long‑term relationships. The role focuses on growing profitable revenue, cross‑selling bank products, and sourcing new ultra‑wealthy clients through referrals and personal networks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and retain HNW client relationships to maximise profitable contribution for both client and bank.
• Drive private banking sales, cross‑sell products such as investments, term deposits, CASA balances, trade finance, FX trading and share financing.
• Identify and acquire new super‑HNW individuals via referrals, marketing activities and personal contacts.
• Collaborate with other bank divisions (TCM, Trade Finance, Mortgage, Corporate Finance) to meet client needs and increase overall bank revenue.
• Ensure compliance with AML, fraud prevention and ethical standards to protect the bank’s reputation.
• Monitor market competition and propose strategies to retain and grow the client base.

Required profile

• University graduate with strong financial market knowledge.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar private banking or financial services role in the UAE.
• Certified by the UAE Securities & Commodities Authority.
• Excellent interpersonal, relationship‑management and networking abilities.
• Ability to communicate complex financial solutions tailored to client needs.
