Associate Vice President – IT Audit

About the role

The Associate Vice President – IT Audit will lead the design, planning and execution of risk‑based technology audits for Rakbank. Reporting to the Head of Technology Audit, you will provide assurance on IT and cyber‑security controls, emerging technologies and business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, budget and deliver end‑to‑end technology audits, including pre‑ and post‑fieldwork artefacts.
• Review closure evidence for audit findings and ensure action plans are completed.
• Develop and maintain the IT Audit Universe, assessing coverage of entities, systems and data.
• Provide materiality judgments on control gaps and communicate results to auditees.
• Mentor audit team members and manage audit project timelines.
• Lead transformation initiatives such as new workflow tools, AI‑driven testing, and data‑analytics approaches.
• Upward‑manage the Head of Technology Audit with timely insights on outcomes and emerging risks.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT audit, risk management or related fields.
• Proven leadership and project‑management capabilities.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, able to present complex findings simply.
• Experience with emerging technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence.
