Associate/Assistant Professor – Physiotherapy

About the role

The College of Health Sciences at Gulf Medical University is seeking qualified candidates for an Associate or Assistant Professor position in Physiotherapy. Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, laboratory and clinical sessions in physiotherapy courses, ensuring alignment with approved curricula.
• Develop and update course materials, assessment rubrics, and examination questions.
• Provide timely formative feedback and academic advising to students.
• Supervise clinical training sites on campus and at affiliated facilities.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, coordinate procurement, and ensure safety standards.
• Conduct scholarly research, publish in peer‑reviewed journals, and secure research funding.
• Participate in departmental and university committees, faculty development, and community outreach programs.

Required profile

• Ph.D. (or equivalent terminal degree) in Physiotherapy.
• Demonstrated excellence in university‑level teaching.
• Strong record of research publications and scholarly activity.
• Minimum three years of post‑doctoral teaching experience at reputable institutions.
