Audit & Assurance Manager – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit & Assurance Manager to join Deloitte’s Dubai office. The role involves leading audit engagements, ensuring high‑quality delivery, and building trust with clients and stakeholders across the United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities

• Review transaction flows and test relevant controls early in the audit cycle to assess the planned audit approach.
• Suggest mitigating testing when controls are ineffective, applying professional scepticism to potential fraud risks.
• Identify opportunities to add value and integrate specialist expertise within the audit team.
• Participate in group risk assessment and scope work for component auditors.
• Prepare and review referral instructions and evaluate responses from component auditors.
• Conduct regular file checks throughout the audit to ensure all issues are resolved.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with the capacity to challenge engagement issues constructively.
• Experience in managing audit engagements and coordinating with component auditors.
• Professional scepticism and awareness of fraud risk indicators.
