Audit Manager - CA/CPA Qualified

About the role

A leading Chartered Accountant firm in Dubai is hiring an Audit Manager who holds a CA or CPA qualification. The role covers end-to-end audit engagements and leads a small team of auditors. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage statutory, internal and special audits for clients across various industries
• Prepare audit plans, risk assessments and audit programs
• Perform the final review of audit reports and financial statements in line with IFRS and ISA
• Manage, mentor and supervise a team of 4-6 audit associates and semi-seniors, allocate work, review working papers and ensure quality and timelines
• Conduct on-the-job training for team members
• Handle a portfolio of clients independently and act as the main point of contact, building strong client relationships
• Ensure compliance with UAE Auditing Standards, IFRS and FTA regulations
• Review and finalise audit reports, management letters and recommendations, and coordinate with partners on findings and closure

Required profile

• Qualified CA or CPA (mandatory)
• 5-7 years of experience in external/statutory audit within a CA firm
• UAE or GCC audit experience highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISA, VAT and UAE corporate tax
• Excellent leadership, analytical and communication skills, able to manage several audits and meet deadlines
