Auditor - Banking - UAE National

About the role

We are seeking a UAE National to join the Internal Audit team in Dubai, covering Corporate, Retail, Treasury, Credit and Risk functions. The role involves delivering independent, risk‑based internal audits in line with UAE Central Bank regulations and global best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Identify weaknesses in Corporate, Retail, Treasury and Risk Management processes and strengthen the control environment.
• Conduct audits following IIA Standards and the Internal Audit Policy and Procedure Manual.
• Prepare audit terms of reference, planning memoranda and test programmes for assigned areas.
• Complete audit engagements on time, including working papers and final audit reports.
• Follow up on audit recommendations and monitor their implementation.
• Participate in special assignments and other tasks as required by Audit Management.

Required profile

• UAE National with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounts or Economics.
• Minimum 3 years banking experience, including at least 1 year in banking audit.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Arabic.
• Ability to work independently on multiple engagements and collaborate across organisational boundaries.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with audit management software.
• Knowledge of UAE Central Bank regulations, local banking laws and IIA Standards.
• Understanding of Global Internal Audit Standards (GIAS) and regulatory compliance.
