Autism Practitioner

About the role

Re:Cognition Health is a provider of clinical services for cognitive impairment and neurological conditions, offering ASD and ADHD assessments, diagnosis and management for children and adults. Its Neurodiversity Service is expanding to Dubai, and the Autism Practitioner works with families, schools and other professionals to support intervention through a consultant-led, multidisciplinary pathway.

Key responsibilities

• Support the children's department by conducting ADOS-2 assessments as part of the autism assessment clinic.
• Co-write high-quality, timely ASD reports with the Consultant Paediatrician or Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.
• Support the ESDM Specialist with evidence-based early intervention (ESDM, PACT) parent coaching sessions and document them in the medical record system.
• Help formulate intervention plans and conduct assessments based on the Developmental Curriculum.
• Take part in Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings and reflective practice groups.
• Contribute to expanding the children's department pathways and services.

Required profile

• Qualified and trained in the UK.
• Solid experience with the ADOS-2 assessment tool.
• Available to start in January 2027 on a part-time basis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Desirable: registered to practice in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, and already relocated in the country.
