AVP – Fund Administration Manager

About the role

Citco is seeking an Assistant Vice President to lead fund accounting training and client onboarding in its new Abu Dhabi office. You will manage a team of fund accountants, ensure high‑quality client delivery, and contribute to strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Execute a robust training program for new staff and provide ongoing coaching.
• Collaborate with Client Integration and operations teams to onboard large, complex strategic clients.
• Manage and develop a team of fund accountants, ensuring goals are met and quality exceeds client expectations.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages, review financial statements and reconciliations, and act as liaison with clients.
• Identify process improvements, review operational reporting, and support ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• University degree in accounting, finance or economics, or professional designation (CGA, CMA, CA, CPA, CFA).
• Extensive supervisory and managerial experience in financial services, preferably with private equity or hedge fund structures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Demonstrated financial reporting, analytical and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Proficiency with Outlook.
