Azure Data Analyst – Healthcare

About the role

An experienced Data Analyst is sought to interpret complex data, identify trends and patterns and build reports and dashboards that support business decisions, especially within the healthcare sector. The role works with stakeholders to improve data quality, operational efficiency and insight generation.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, interpret and analyse data using statistical techniques to find trends, patterns and business insights.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, databases and data collection systems, and clean, validate and troubleshoot datasets.
• Gather data from primary and secondary sources and ensure its quality, consistency and reliability.
• Support analytical models, predictive models and machine learning algorithms, and use statistical tools for evidence-based decisions.
• Prepare and present reports with data visualization tools such as Tableau, and develop SQL queries for data extraction, transformation and reporting.
• Analyse healthcare operational data to improve service quality, efficiency and cost, and work with stakeholders to set reporting priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; equivalent qualifications may be considered.
• 4-7 years of experience in data analysis, reporting and interpretation of complex datasets.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred, including familiarity with healthcare regulatory KPIs and performance indicators.
• Experience with business intelligence tools, especially Tableau, and hands-on SQL, data reporting and statistical analysis.

Required skills

• Data analysis and reporting with Excel, SPSS, SAS or equivalent platforms.
• Data visualization and dashboard development, particularly Tableau.
• Good knowledge of SQL, database technologies and data management practices.
• Strong analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
