Backend Software Engineer (PHP)

About the role

We are looking for a self‑motivated doer with a passion for solving customer problems to join our cross‑functional team and help develop new backend features for our automotive platform.

Key responsibilities

• Work as part of a cross‑functional team to lead the development of new features.
• Perform code reviews, debugging and refactoring to continuously improve the codebase.
• Contribute to application improvement and optimization through audits, caching and architecture changes.
• Write DRY code following best practices.
• Define requirements for new features and assist with sprint planning.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to shape, estimate and plan requirements.
• Showcase new work to product owners and stakeholders regularly.
• Drive continuous improvement within the team and take technical leadership on projects.
• Work closely with the product team.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Ability to work in an Agile, high‑paced environment.
• Passionate about building and optimizing performance.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
