About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and self‑motivated Banquet Captain to lead our food & beverage service team at Rotana Ras Al Khaimah – The Mangroves. You will ensure guests receive professional, customer‑focused service that creates memorable experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver food & beverage service in line with the hotel’s performance standards.
- Maintain in‑depth knowledge of the outlet’s menu to advise guests and upsell effectively.
- Set up the outlet for service, supervise smooth operations, and handle guest complaints promptly.
- Direct and supervise the service team, ensuring duties are performed to standards.
- Train colleagues, manage supplies, and keep accurate beverage stock records.
- Minimise waste, breakage and spoilage while maximizing revenue through upselling techniques.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in hospitality.
- Maximum two years’ experience in a similar banquet or food & beverage role.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Familiarity with Micros POS system (desirable).
- Previous minor leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
