Bar / Beverage Manager

About the role

A hotel belonging to the Accor network, which operates more than 45 brands, 5,500 hotels and 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations, is looking for a Bar / Beverage Manager in Dubai. The role oversees the daily operations of all hotel bars and beverage outlets, ensuring smooth service, operational efficiency and exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative beverage menus, cocktail concepts, seasonal promotions and offerings aligned with brand standards and guest preferences.
• Manage beverage costs, inventory, stock control, purchasing and supplier relationships to maximise profitability while keeping quality standards.
• Lead, train, motivate and develop the bar and beverage team, covering product knowledge, service standards, upselling and consistent performance.
• Monitor beverage revenue, sales performance, cost of sales and departmental budgets, and identify ways to increase revenue and meet financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, UAE regulations, licensing requirements, hygiene standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Collaborate with the F&B leadership team, the Culinary department and other hotel departments on special events, guest satisfaction and outlet performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in bar or beverage management, preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale hospitality setting.
• Proven experience in team leadership, beverage cost control, inventory management and revenue optimisation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, mixology and international beverage trends.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organisational and guest service skills.
