Barista – Aroma Plaza Coffee Bar (Freelance)

About the role

Join the Legends Global team at Coca-Cola Arena to deliver high‑quality coffee and exceptional guest experiences during concerts, sporting events, corporate functions, and daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee, teas and menu items according to Aroma Coffee brand standards.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, blenders and other coffee equipment safely and efficiently.
• Provide outstanding guest service, upsell products and promote special offers.
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, hygiene and presentation standards across all coffee stations.
• Support stock control, inventory management, waste reduction and overall outlet readiness.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; barista training or coffee certification is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a barista or in a café/food‑and‑beverage role, preferably in the UAE event industry.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
• UAE national applicants are encouraged to apply.

Required skills

• Espresso machine operation and specialty coffee preparation.
• POS system usage and accurate cash handling.
• Knowledge of food safety, HACCP principles and allergen awareness.
• Inventory management and waste minimisation practices.
