Barista - Office Café

About the role

A Dubai-based real estate developer is looking for a friendly and professional barista to run its in-house office café in Dubai Hills. The barista serves coffee and other drinks to staff and visitors, keeps the café clean and organized, manages stock and prepares daily reports, helping create a welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet staff and visitors warmly, present the menu and take accurate orders, preparing coffee, tea and other drinks to company standards
• Serve drinks promptly and support hospitality for meetings, client visits and internal events
• Keep the café, equipment, cups and utensils clean and organized, and operate, clean and maintain coffee machines and basic equipment
• Report equipment faults to the Office Manager and follow health, safety and food hygiene standards
• Monitor stock of coffee, milk, tea, snacks and supplies, raise requests in time and prevent wastage
• Prepare daily consumption and monthly inventory reports

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience as a barista, ideally in a café, hotel or corporate setting
• Good spoken English; Arabic or other languages are a plus
• Well-presented, polite and service-minded, organized, reliable and punctual
• Basic computer or phone skills for simple stock reports

Required skills

• Espresso-based drinks and coffee machine operation
• Food safety standards (a food safety certificate is an advantage)

Working days: 6 days a week; shifts are rotational.
