Bell Attendant

About the role

Jumeirah Hotel Group in Dubai is hiring a Bell Attendant. The role greets guests, handles luggage and keeps the lobby and entrance areas tidy. Working hours are 48 hours per week with one day off, and some F&B roles may involve split shifts or night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly on arrival and departure, assist with loading and unloading luggage, escort guests to their rooms and explain room features.
• Tag, store and retrieve luggage, and deliver mail, packages, messages and room service trays to guest rooms.
• Keep the bell desk, lobby and entrance areas clean and organised, and report maintenance or safety issues.

Required profile

• Previous customer service or hospitality experience is a plus; front-of-house experience (porter, valet, concierge) is beneficial.
• On-the-job training is usually provided for entry-level candidates.
• Excellent communication skills, friendly manner and strong customer service orientation.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings and holidays, and professional appearance following uniform standards.
• A valid driver's licence may be required, especially if valet or shuttle services are part of the role.
