Bellman - Fairmont Ajman

About the role

Fairmont Ajman, a beachfront 5-star hotel in Ajman, is looking for a Bellman to report to the Bell Captain. The role greets guests on arrival, handles luggage and supports lobby and front office operations. It is a full-time permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome arriving and departing guests and escort them to their rooms, explaining facilities and services
• Assist guests with loading, unloading, transporting and storing luggage safely and efficiently
• Coordinate arrivals and departures with the Front Desk, Concierge, Valet and other departments
• Respond promptly to guest requests and give accurate information about facilities, restaurants and activities
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the lobby, entrance and luggage storage areas, and keep accurate luggage storage records
• Support the Front Office during peak periods, VIP movements and special events
• Follow safety, security and compliance procedures, report suspicious activity and hazards, and adhere to grooming standards and uniform requirements
• Work with the Front Office and other departments, take part in briefings and training, and uphold Fairmont values and brand standards

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Bellman, Bell Attendant, Concierge or similar guest-facing hospitality role is preferred
• Experience in a luxury hotel is an advantage
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage
• Knowledge of hotel facilities, guest service standards and luggage-handling procedures is desirable
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
