About the role
NMC Healthcare is hiring a Billing Executive in Sharjah. The role serves patients at the front desk and handles payments, invoicing and record keeping in line with the clinic's policies.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers properly and direct them appropriately
- Receive payment by cash or credit card
- Enter services into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) according to the institution's policies and protocols
- Generate invoices for cash and insurance, issue receipts and handle refunds and balances
- List the price of every service and tabulate bills in the EMR; report discrepancies to clinic management or the Finance Manager
- Count cash in the drawers at the start of each shift and tally cash and credit sales against the EMR at the end of the day
- Maintain statistics on promotions and campaigns in the authorised format
- Answer customer queries and notify management of any billing or system issues
Required profile
- College diploma in any discipline or a related field
