BIM Modeler

About the role

A full-time BIM Modeler position is open, focused on creating and managing building information models that give a digital representation of the physical and functional characteristics of projects. The successful candidate works with architects, engineers and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed BIM models using software such as Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and coordinated models.
• Produce detailed drawings and construction documents from BIM models.
• Carry out clash detection and resolution to protect design integrity and minimise errors.
• Help prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates from BIM models.
• Make sure all models follow established standards and protocols.
• Support project teams with BIM tasks and provide training where needed.
• Keep up with industry trends, tools and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a BIM Modeler.
• Strong knowledge of building construction methods, materials and standards.
• Excellent technical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with good communication skills.
• Experience with clash detection and coordination; knowledge of UAE building codes is a plus.
