Biomedical Engineer (Hospital)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Biomedical Engineer to join our team in Dubai, providing 24‑hour engineering support to hospital sites. The role focuses on maintaining and servicing biomedical equipment in line with manufacturer guidelines and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain assigned biomedical equipment according to manufacturer recommendations.
• Deliver 24‑hour on‑site biomedical engineering services.
• Stay updated on regulatory standards and technological advancements related to biomedical devices.
• Ensure proper functioning and handling of all biomedical equipment.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.

Required profile

• BSc degree in Biomedical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a hospital or clinical environment.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards governing medical devices.
• Ability to work on a rotating shift schedule to provide 24‑hour coverage.
• Good communication skills to interact with clinical teams.
