BMS Operator

About the role

The BMS Operator will work in the Engineering Control Room at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, ensuring smooth operation of building management and fire alarm systems. This position supports the engineering team in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the central monitoring station and associated systems in line with EPH standards.
• Manage 24‑hour engineering emergency calls and coordinate with fire, gas, electricity, water, security, and building management personnel.
• Prepare diagnostic reports and record work orders in the database, following the Control Room Operators’ Procedure Manual.
• Monitor, operate, and control the Central Fire Alarm System and respond promptly to system alarms.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a BMS Operator in a luxury property or resort.
• Certification or training in Building Management Systems or related control systems is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
