Board Advisor – Investment Strategy (Senior)

About the role

Our client, an international investment platform operating across public and private markets, seeks an experienced senior investor to serve as an independent Board Advisor. The role focuses on providing strategic guidance on asset allocation, investment strategy, and governance, supporting the Board and Investment Committee.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic input on asset allocation and overall portfolio construction across multiple asset classes.
• Contribute to investment strategy for both public and private markets and challenge decisions when appropriate.
• Support the Board and Investment Committee on key investment topics and governance best practices.
• Attend approximately six in‑person board meetings per year in Dubai.

Required profile

• Former CIO, Deputy CIO or senior investment professional from a pension fund, sovereign wealth fund or endowment.
• Multi‑asset investment experience across public and private markets.
• Hands‑on portfolio management background with progression to senior leadership.
• Independent mindset with confidence to provide clear, constructive views at board level.
• Based in or able to travel conveniently from Europe or nearby regions to Dubai.
