Business Analyst - Insurance Sector

About the role

A leading organization in the insurance sector is hiring a Business Analyst in Dubai through a partnership with Intelligent Solutions. The role suits a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of software engineering and enterprise IT systems who wants to drive digital transformation. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, support system development and help deliver digital projects that improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and document business requirements with stakeholders, and turn them into technical specifications for developers
• Support the software development lifecycle with clarifications, review of deliverables and troubleshooting
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines and progress reports
• Analyze business processes, operations and customer needs to find efficiency improvements
• Create test plans, test cases and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Assist in designing, developing and implementing digital systems, including gap analysis and integration requirements such as APIs
• Provide training and support to internal teams on new systems

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in digital or technology-driven environments
• Experience in requirements gathering, documentation and analysis tools
• Knowledge of process mapping, including flow diagrams and data models
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills; able to work independently and collaboratively
• Prior experience in insurance or financial services is highly preferred; project management or digital transformation experience is an advantage

• Understanding of software engineering principles and enterprise IT systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant analytical tools
