Business Analyst – IT Systems

About the role
The University seeks a Business Analyst to support and enhance its management information systems. You will work closely with IT and administrative teams to ensure that business rules are correctly implemented and that applications meet user needs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations for new IT software projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve business process efficiency.
- Investigate and resolve application functionality issues for financial and administration systems.
- Coordinate development activities across multiple projects.
- Assist with software troubleshooting, installation, and testing alongside the network administrator.
- Document technical specifications and produce user guides for new and existing applications.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong understanding of business priorities and the ability to translate them into system rules.
- Experience with system‑level programming concepts.
Required skills
- Experience with Microsoft SQL.
