Business Developer - Certification Renewal (CER)

About the role

Bureau Veritas is hiring a Business Developer for its Certification department in Abu Dhabi, reporting to the Sales Manager. The role drives new business in Abu Dhabi and other Emirates, qualifying and winning certification renewal contracts while managing the full sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business development in Abu Dhabi and other Emirates, qualify and win new sales
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract award, including follow-up on scheduling and receivables
• Maintain monthly targets, a healthy pipeline and accurate Salesforce data
• Collaborate with technical teams to structure winning proposals
• Serve as the main client contact, map stakeholders and build long-term relationships across energy, utilities, construction, industrial, aerospace, hospitality and tourism sectors
• Build rapport with GRC, QHSE, Cyber and Sustainability departments, manage client expectations and give regular project updates
• Respond to client requests within 24 hours, run workshops and presentations, and represent the company at industry events
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets, grow key and strategic accounts and report weekly sales performance

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or engineering
• Minimum 3 years' experience in the TIC industry
• Specialty sales and business development background
• Desired: sales and ISO-related training; awareness of ISO standards and management systems
• Complete the regular HSE standard training
